Juggling Workshops

with Walter Beals

Who can learn to Juggle?

It’s been said that anyone capable of tying his or her shoes can learn to juggle. Walter, however, believes he can teach even those who claim to be too clumsy to even tie their own shoes! The ideal age of the beginner juggler is nine and above. Though younger students, if focused, and eager to learn are quite capable of mastering the skill as well.
Juggling can be a great supplement for drama classes, physical education classes, and even can be useful as a creative learning tool for mathematics classes.

Who is Walter Beals?

Walter has been passionate about juggling for about 11 years now. He received both his BA and MA in Theatre from Humboldt State University. As part of his Master’s Degree he completed a one-year program at Circomedia, a circus arts school in England. As part of his program at Circomedia, he trained in juggling under world-renowned juggling instructors, Rod Laver, Haggis McCleod, and Sean Gandini. Walter has several years of experience teaching people of all ages to juggle.
